Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you connect your Google account, Head Clear accesses:

• Gmail messages (to read, summarize, draft, and send on your request)
• Google Calendar events (to view and create on your request)
• Your Google profile name and email address

When you use Head Clear, we store:

• Your profile information (name, email, preferences)
• Tasks, reminders, and domain items you create
• Files you upload and their extracted text
• A memory summary of your usage patterns (can be deleted anytime)
• Your chat history (stored locally with a 10-minute session limit)

2. What We Do Not Do

• We never sell your data to third parties
• We never share your Gmail or Calendar data with advertisers
• We never read your emails without your request
• We never send emails without your explicit confirmation
• We never store full email content — only summaries and snippets you request

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide AI-assisted responses in your conversations with Head Clear
• Generate your daily brief and domain summaries
• Draft emails, set reminders, and create calendar events on your request
• Build your personal memory summary to improve response quality

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with:

• Row-level security — you can only access your own data
• Encrypted connections (TLS) for all data in transit
• No data shared across user accounts

5. Google Data

Head Clear's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access Gmail and Calendar data solely to provide features you explicitly request.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Disconnect your Google account (Profile → Google → Disconnect)
• Delete your memory summary (Profile → Memory → Clear)
• Delete your uploaded files (Files tab → Delete)
• Request full account deletion by emailing: privacy@thefocuslab.org

7. Children's Privacy

Head Clear is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
